Ducki Bros (Germany) :
STORY behind the song 'Don't Give Up': The story behind the song is a real story: This year is a very difficult time for many people especially through Corona with restrictions, limitations and unfortunately also with tragedies and the loss of loved ones, BUT don’t give up! We experienced this year too many tragedies like struggling in business and in our family life which we transformed to build a positive message:
In January our beloved mother unfortunately died of cancer after a tough fight with three operations over few years. On her deathbed Julian composed the melody of our song on his electric piano and played it to our mum every night. When Simon heart the piano melody, he had the idea to make a song out of it. Then the first lines followed and piece by piece the beat was built.

Raahul Dev born in a humble Bengali family, Raahul Dev kick-started his music career at the age of 17 as the lead vocalist for the music band ‘Suryodaya’.
Like most of them, the band split in 2002, but this panned out perfectly as Rahul gathered hands-on experience of the challenges, complexities, execution and business of various creative art forms.
Starting with becoming a drama expert to excelling in radio production, voice over and winning many national and international awards in advertising, to opening his own freelance designing company, Rahul Dev kept his dream alive by excelling at his projects and fuelling his passion simultaneously with continued writing, composing and recording of his original songs.
The journey so far as an artist and songs spreads over two decades. Each song was written, recorded and re-recorded in different music eras; therefore they carry subtlety of 70s, the nostalgia of 90s along with magic of the new millennia.

Frank Schulz didn't go to a music college or study music.
Frank has some experience with different bands as a singer and guitarist and have been composing from the beginning. He started with 10 years on the guitar. Without a guitar teacher and Youtube it was almost impossible to get on there and there were big gaps.
At 16 it really started, when he also had a guitar teacher but most of it he taught myself autodidactically. There followed gigs with different bands and later he spent a lot of time with music editing. Sequencers, plugins and recording techniques were his world and still are...it goes on and on and he truly hopes it will never stop.

Matilda Mother band is a folk rock duo from Finland and they do acoustic songs and experimental music as well. The members are Ninel Grönholm and Tomi Christiansson. The compositions are made by Tomi Christiansson. His main instrument is the electric guitar and especially the melodic, feedback guitar, though most of the recordings has been made with an acoustic guitar, drums, piano, sometimes bass or slide guitar.
The name of the band comes from Pink Floyd ´s song Matilda Mother. They have published two LP vinyls: Sähkö and 700Napa-38, digital material more in bandcamp. There are two members and they do all the noise and sounds. Music influences vary a lot, but Tomi Christiansson has learned to play by ear at very early ages. He is listening and processing the harmonies in his head all the time: music is his life and he improvizeses as a method daily and processes new material for compositions constantly. As improvising is the method in this band, Ninel and Tomi have started to go towards longer pieces choosing one or two themes and varying the instruments while playing. The moment when the sound is still fresh and not overbaked for some common conception of how music should sound. Some raw but definitely their own unique sound, that´s what Matilda Mother band is made of. Music happens now, naturally with a natural heart beat.

WITH(OUT) You talks about a tale of love gone cold, the last burning ember of a warmth long lost, a state that perhaps is familiar to all. They're available and open one moment yet distant and bitter the next, they can't decide if they're in or out and it's hard to say how things ended up being that way. It's about having all the reasons and yet not enough but at some point you have to get up and address the mirror, take a deep breath, make tough decisions and let them go with love so both of you could grow. He's with her but she's without him but now is the time for realisations.
Lyrically, there's a tone of deep seated dissatisfaction in the protagonist's voice with the way the things have finally turned out. The lyrics employ a mix of visual imagery and direct speech to blend together and paint this dark and lonely world of two in deep shades of blue and scattered grey.
